INTRODUCTION:

H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen is a unique formula containing chemically active dissolved diatomic oxygen and ozone. Together, these two forms of bio-available oxygen have strong oxidative action. 

Oxygen, of course, is one of the fundamental elements of all life and participates in all human and animal body processes which govern the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals. Plant tissues also require oxygen as part of their aerobic respiratory cycle. Oxygen and sunlight are necessary in the production of metabolic energy in all higher plant life.

Diatomic oxygen and ozone are also found in rain and snow which supply vital oxygen to all plant life. Research indicates that the oxidation process appears to stimulate protein production in growing plants. The benefits of higher oxygen concentrations in water supplies to vegetation include thicker plant stems, larger leaves and shorter stem internodes. In standing crops, such as potatoes and corn, plant stems are thicker and stronger and the leaves are a brighter green color than those not receiving additional oxygen. Oxygen-nourished plants are believed to be more drought and disease resistant (especially to root pathogens).


POTENTIAL APPLICATIONS:

FROST RESISTANCE
Current plant research indicates that when oxygen rich water (like H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen) is added to a foliar feed spray on potatoes, this new solution enhances the plants' resistance to frost damage down to as low as minus 5 degrees centigrade. 

DRIP IRRIGATION
Initial research indicates that H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen may inhibit the growth of algae and anaerobic micro-organisms / plant life in drip irrigation lines. In addition to its anti-microbial properties, H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen may also provide oxygen-rich water to the plant root systems enhancing the aerobic plant growth (respiratory) cycle. Reports indicate that combining  H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen in irrigation water along with low molecular weight fulvic acids may significantly increase the uptake of oxygen.

ORCHARD USE & FRUIT SET
Spraying fruit trees at petal fall with full strength H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen may  enhance fruit set. 

HOUSE PLANTS & CUT FLOWERS
All house plants may benefit from an increase in oxygenation and may enhance appearance and life. 

AS A FOLIAR FEED
Excellent results have been reported when used on soybeans, edible beans, corn, wheat and oats.

SEED GERMINATION
Germination may increase when soaking seeds in H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen. Some reports indicate a 30% higher germination rate.

ANTISEPTIC DIP
H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen may make an effective anti-microbial dip for fruits and vegetables. Tests indicate a high organism destructive ratio, on contact, against most anaerobic molds, yeasts, fungi and bacteria.

DRINKING WATER FOR FARM, AND RANCH ANIMALS
Oxygen in the drinking water of farm animals may improve their health, milk production in cows, weight gain in hogs with less feed used and reduce the outbreak and spread of animal diseases. The drinking water may also remain cleaner and fresher with a noticeable reduction in algae, bacteria and rust. 

DAIRY USES
H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen may also be used as a completely safe and non-toxic udder wash. Cows have soft teats and H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen will not irritate the teat ends. The solution may be placed in a pump spray bottle and sprayed directly on teats and the udder as often as needed. An oxygen-rich drench can be used for cows with high fevers or for off-feed cows with mastitis. In addition, H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen may be applied directly to wounds to enhance the healing process.

H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen may be effective as an additive to colostrum milk to reduce spoilage until it is used to feed newborn calves. Newborn calves may benefit from extra oxygen and appears to brighten the calves up. In some cases it may  reduce scours. Reports also indicate that H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen, when added to the water of cows that have just given birth, may help settle and clean out these cows much faster.

CROP RESIDUE CONVERTED TO ANIMAL FEED
H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen can be used to convert crop residue into cattle feed. Residual crop items (straw, corn stalks, corn cobs, soybean residue, etc.) may be treated by direct application.  Some feedlots have reported that the meat quality on animals fed using this process to be as good as those animals fed corn.

SLURRY TANKS
Slurry tanks are used by farmers to store animal wastes, usually those from dairy barns or hog operations. Research indicates that adding H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen may significantly reduce slurry odor. In some cases the odor may even be completely eliminated.

POULTRY
Tests indicate that H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen added to poultry drinking water may reduce the outbreak and severity of the avian flu virus. In addition, H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen has been reported to increase egg production in those hens drinking water treated with a higher oxygen content. Some poultry farmers have reported that chickens drinking treated water have reduced or no breast blisters and the heavier chickens have a significant reduction in tendon breakage. 


ANTI-MICROBIAL DISINFECTANT TEST
FIRE BLIGHT (Septoria apiicola Spag.) March 10 - March 14, 1997. 
Tests conducted on a celery crop experiencing an outbreak of Fire Blight fungus due to a number of environmental conditions favoring the spread of the diseases showed H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen had a disinfectant as well as a preservative impact on bacteria and mold on infected celery leaves. Test conducted by Dr. Stephen Krauss, PHD. - Oxnard, California.

ALGAE CONTROL ON MIXED POTTED SOIL
No algae growth was found on potting soil mixture after soaking mix in H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen.

EFFECT ON SEED GERMINATION (Celery, Parsley, Verbena)
Using H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen increased the germination of celery  and parsley 8 and 14 percent respectively. The verbena seeds appeared to be adversely affected by the H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen with a reduction in germination of 43%.

PREVENTING FROST DAMAGE SUGAR BEET SEEDLINGS
H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen strengthened the sugar beet seedlings making them better able to resist frost at 23 degrees F. Further test to be done at lower temperatures. Test conducted by Charles Habstritt - Univ. of Minnesota.

PLANT PATHOLOGY RESEARCH (H2O-BOO2ST®)
Test conducted on Zinnia seeds using H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen to prevent Alternaria Zinnia fungus and to increase effectiveness of germination.

Results: Under conditions where seed lots are heavily infested with Alternaria zinnia, seed disinfection with H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen prior to seeding can reduce the incidence of damping off and blight of zinnia. Additionally, seed germination rates would be increased, resulting in many more healthy plants.

With the additional characteristics of having no toxicity to humans or animals and being biodegradable, H2O-BOO2ST® Oxygen shows promise being used as a disinfectant of fruits and vegetables and other food products in addition to being used to produce clean seeds and increase seed germination rates.
